This song has taken on many forms throughout the last few years. I wrote it about a boy who made me coffee in the mornings while we bonded over the music we loved. Then, over the last couple years it became a song that I felt more than I ever could have for someone who I thought was my forever. It was his song. Now, itās a song about what I look forward to. I grew up with love everywhere around me. The cover art is of my grandparents on their wedding day. They were married for almost 65 years before my grandmother passed away in 2019. I know a love like that will one day come my way, but for now Iām loving me. For now, I am my own Valentine.
